Truth is you can’t just go out and purchase ants. There are many people that raise their own ants. Believe it or not there are a ton of great ant recipes out there and there are numerous restaurants that serve ant on their menu. My recommendation for eating ants for most people is to purchase ant extract powder. There are a few companies that offer it for sale. It’s saves a lot of work and it’s easy to take. I do not recommend eating ants from your back yard. Wild insects may contain traces of pesticides and ton of other stuff that would not be good for you.
